Hi there, I'm Rochelle - Mixed Media Artist, Partner, Mum, Doggy Mum, Story Teller, Creator, Mess Maker, Lover of Purple, Glitter & Shiny Things.

I'm so happy you are here. Grab yourself a nice warm tea or coffee or a tall glass of cool refreshing-ness - whichever one is appropriate for your climate right now, sit back and stay a while. 

 

I have been creating for as long as I can remember, with my first memory being a painted pasta necklace in rainbow colours at pre-school aged 3 or 4.

 

I have worked as an art tutor, artist, fine embroiderer & fibre artist, quilter, jeweller and more over the years & after some gentle encouragement from family & friends, I've realised that it's time to share my knowledge.

 

Many of my skills are self taught so will not always be the conventional way but I've come to learn that as long as you achieve your desired outcome, the technique is not always necessarily the be all & end all.

 

Hopefully you'll find an eclectic collection of crafting tutorials which share my knowledge & sometimes my own unique techniques so that you too may enjoy the pleasures of creativity.

 

I'm an advocate of Creative Mindful Meditation, positivity & how to integrate these into my creative teachings so you'll also be introduced to those too along the way too.

I am also a "Spoonie" (If you know, you know), and have days where I am beyond challenged with illness and their associated challenges. I use these challenging times to delve deeper into my creative practice, even if some days all I can do is rest.
